How to infuse Lapsang Souchong's distinctive flavour into vodka.

Teabag Vodka: Lapsang Souchong

I want to get this out of the way first: I don't think there's a way of saying 'oh I'd like a cup of Lapsang Souchong' without sounding either pretentious, or up one's own arse. I'm at peace with that: it's a delicious black tea, smoked over pine.


  • 325ml of vodka
  • Lapsang Souchong (say it with me) tea bag


  1. Start with room-temperature vodka, and leave the tea bag in for about 24h.
  2. Remove tea bag.

The result is a pleasantly smokey vodka, with a supporting flavour of black tea.
